The Undercover Systems patented under-deck ceiling provides homeowners with the ability to “bring their home outdoors” by creating an attractive, dry, livable, space under their deck. Elevated decks often have a patio space underneath them, but when snowmelt or rain drips through the deck that patio space becomes wet and dirty. Also, over time, the exposed wood joists above the patio become water stained and very unattractive. An Undercover System solves this problem by creating a beautiful ceiling that is also waterproof, allowing year round use and enjoyment of the space under a deck. More importantly, the ceiling system will not compromise the health of the deck by trapping moisture, humidity, or pools of water against the wood structure of the deck. The patented design allows the ceiling to be installed in a way that provides continuous airflow between the product and the wood structure of the deck keeping that space dry. It also eliminates the possibility of ice or pools of water from collecting against the wood joists by maintaining approximately 6” of airspace between the ceiling material and the bottom of the joists. Each system is custom designed and manufactured from heavy gauge, galvanized steel, comes in multiple colors, and is installed by our design team to ensure proper installation every time. Homeowners also have the opportunity to enhance the space by adding accessory items like ceiling fans, recessed can lights, heaters, speakers, porch swings etc. The area under the deck can also be enclosed to provide additional uses for the space such as screened in porches or fully framed enclosures. With such a wide range of possible uses for the space under a deck, Undercover Systems truly enables homeowners to “bring their home outdoors”. Each Undercover System comes with a lifetime warranty.
