Underdecking System in Wheat Ridge, Colorado
Our flagship system. A structural, galvanized steel ceiling installed beneath your existing deck—designed to keep the space below dry, clean, and fully usable in all conditions.
We’ll assess your deck, take measurements, and help you plan a system that fits your space—at no cost.
Built Different—Where It Matters
Not all underdeck systems are built the same. All the differences may not be obvious on day one—but they show up over time.
- Structural steel vs. light-gauge materials — holds its shape with no waviness or sagging
- Full 360° gutter system — consistent finish and controlled water management on every project
- Removable panels — full access for maintenance, wiring, and long-term service
- Concealed fastening — clean, finished ceiling appearance with no exposed hardware
- Designed for real conditions — built to handle water, debris, and seasonal changes

Designed to perform—and to look good doing it.
Most underdeck systems focus on appearance first and performance second. Ours is engineered to do both.
The system is built from structural galvanized steel, which holds its shape over time and resists “Oil Caning” from expanding and contracting in our Colorado climate. It’s designed to manage real water flow—not just redirect it—and to maintain a consistent finish across the entire ceiling.
Some systems use a single run of standard household gutter that can look out of place and limit pitch. Our box-shaped gutter is integrated into the design, blending in as a finished trim element.
A full 360° perimeter gutter system is used on every project, creating a uniform look while ensuring water is collected and routed properly, regardless of layout.
Material Matters
Material choice is one of the biggest differences between systems—and one of the most overlooked.
Many systems rely on aluminum or light-gauge materials paired with standard gutter components. Over time, those combinations can be more susceptible to movement, visible waviness, and wear from exposure.
Galvanized steel offers a more rigid, stable structure that maintains a clean, consistent appearance long-term—especially in environments with sun exposure, temperature swings, and seasonal moisture.
The steel is hot-dip galvanized for base corrosion resistance, then coated on both sides through a controlled paint process. A 5 mil thick polyurethane finish is applied to ensure long-term color stability and surface durability.
Designed for Real Conditions
Water, debris, and seasonal changes are part of every project.
No system is completely immune to debris over time. Leaves, dust, and runoff can enter any drainage system. The difference is how the system handles it.
Our 16-inch wide panels—the widest in the industry—create a larger pathway for debris to move through the system and exit through the downspouts, reducing buildup.
Our panels do not rely on attachment points to the joist, which leave the system fully accessible. Panels can be removed, allowing for inspection, cleaning, and maintenance without damaging the ceiling or surrounding structure.
Long-Term Serviceability
This isn’t a sealed, inaccessible system.
It’s built to be maintained.
Whether it’s flushing the gutter system, accessing wiring, or making deck repairs, the design allows for straightforward access without tearing into finished work.
For homeowners who prefer not to handle maintenance themselves, we offer a low-cost service program. Intervals are based on site conditions such as tree coverage and drainage exposure.
Accessories Built Into the Ceiling
Because our steel panels are removable and wired through the cavity, lighting, fans, heaters, and audio can be designed into the ceiling from day one, or added later without tearing anything apart. Every fixture mounts flush to the finished surface with no exposed conduit.

Waterproof String Lights
Our system uses high-strength magnetic mounting to pair seamlessly with waterproof string lighting, creating a clean, adaptable lighting layout without permanent fasteners. This approach can be used independently or alongside hardwired 3-inch recessed fixtures, giving you flexibility in both design and budget. By reducing or eliminating the need for an electrician, the setup remains fully reconfigurable at any time as your space or preferences evolve.

Outdoor Ceiling Fans
Large multi-blade fans sized for covered patios. Mounted through the finished ceiling with concealed wiring. Keeps air moving on hot Colorado afternoons.

Coordinated Lighting and Fan Packages
Paired fans, lantern sconces, and speakers selected and installed as one coordinated layout. Every fixture ties back to a single ceiling plane for a clean, unified finish.

Integrated Swings & Hammocks
Our system can accommodate securely mounted swing and hammock points, creating a functional and relaxing feature within your outdoor space. Each installation is planned for proper structural support while maintaining the clean, finished look of the ceiling system.

Ceiling-Mounted Audio and Heat
Outdoor speakers paired with an articulating heater on a wood-plank finish. All wiring runs through the panel cavity, nothing visible once the ceiling is closed up.

TV Mounts
Our ceiling-mounted TV solutions provide a clean, protected way to incorporate entertainment into your outdoor space. Designed for stability and accessibility, these mounts allow for optimal viewing angles while keeping wiring concealed and serviceable.

Gas Radiant Heaters
Our system is designed to support gas radiant heaters through clean, secure mounting that integrates directly with the ceiling structure. This allows for efficient, targeted heat without compromising accessibility or aesthetics. The setup remains flexible, giving you the ability to position or adjust heating elements as your outdoor space evolves.

Recessed LED Downlights
Low-voltage eyeball fixtures set flush into the finished panel. Aimable for reading zones, dining tables, or wall-washing. Clean from every angle.

Electric Infrared Heater Bar
Ceiling-mounted quartz infrared bar with adjacent can lights. No gas line required. Instant warmth that stays on the deck without heating the air around it.

Integrated Speakers
Built-in speaker integration allows you to bring high-quality audio into your outdoor space without exposed wiring or clutter. Our system accommodates clean routing and secure mounting, delivering a seamless look while maintaining full access for future upgrades or adjustments.
