Founded 2004
Meet the Owners — Justen Laurienti & Drake Sample
We’re Colorado-born small business partners whose friendship goes all the way back to childhood. Over the years, we’ve shared a deep appreciation for quality craftsmanship, problem-solving, and creating meaningful outdoor living experiences that bring people together.
When we first started working with Undercover Systems, it didn’t take long for us to realize this was more than just a job—it was a company built on a product, level of integrity, and customer experience that truly stood out.
As we gained hands-on experience with the system and saw firsthand the excitement our customers felt when their installations were complete, we knew that if the opportunity ever presented itself, we wanted to take ownership of Undercover Systems of Colorado. When that opportunity became real, we moved quickly, and turned that vision into reality.
Now, more than five years later, we couldn’t be happier with how far the company has come. Having spent years in the field as installers ourselves, we take tremendous pride in our craftsmanship. We’ve refined every detail of our process and developed a standardized approach for every application—ensuring each client receives the highest-quality underdeck system available today.
As homeowners and outdoor enthusiasts, we truly value great outdoor experiences. Our families regularly host friends, neighbors, and gatherings—from game nights to celebrations and dinners—so creating comfortable, functional, and beautiful outdoor spaces is something we take personally.
Purchasing this homegrown company that aligned so closely with our standards and values was a natural decision.
We look forward to meeting you and working with you to incorporate our system into your outdoor space.
What We Believe
The principles that guide every project
01
Materials Over Margins
We don’t choose materials based on cost—we choose them based on performance.
Galvanized steel costs more than thin aluminum. We use it because it holds its shape, resists long-term wear, and delivers a finished product that continues to perform.
We’re building systems meant to last—not ones that need to be replaced.
02
In-House, Start to Finish
No subcontractors. No handoffs.
The same team that evaluates your project is the team that installs it. That means tighter quality control, better communication, and accountability from start to finish.

03
A Warranty That Means Something
Every system is backed by a true lifetime warranty.
Not a limited version. Not fine print. Not exclusions based on conditions.
We’ve been around long enough to stand behind what we install—and we plan to be here to keep doing it.
04
Built for Colorado Conditions
We don’t design systems in a vacuum—we design them for the environment we work in every day.
Snow load, UV exposure, freeze-thaw cycles, and seasonal runoff are all factored into how the system is built and installed.
05
Ownership Drives the Work
This isn’t a slogan—it’s how the company is structured.
The people building your project have a direct stake in the outcome. That shows up in the details, in the finish, and in how the work holds up over time.
The Work Speaks for Itself
